Google Personalizes Your Search Experience

Google recently enabled a new search feature called "My Search History" that keeps track of all your web searches and every page that you view from search results.
This latest feature is a step forward from bookmarks saved on your personal desktop, that allows you to look up the latest date and time that you saw a page, how often you've seen it, and navigate through any day of your search history. All the data is stored on company servers and available from any computer with an Internet connection.
"My Search History" does not store web pages. It rather saves your search behavior, and makes it easy to rediscover both your past queries and the search result pages you've viewed. To use this service, you need to have an active Google account (Gmail, Google Groups or Google Answers - registration is free). Registration is needed because Google wanted this service password protected, as search is considered a private activity.
“My Search History” is not very different from what the others are offering. With this new search feature added, Google reinforces its position as a #1 search engine that wants to keep the pace in innovating for its users.
