PPC Advertising - Microsoft Invites Advertisers for ContentAds Pilot
Wednesday, September 6 2006 at 13:44
NEW YORK (MarketWatch) Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) issued invitations to selected advertisers to participate in the new ContentAds pilot.
Microsoft confirmed the information from a blog report on JenSense.com, a blog devoted to contextual advertising.
Content Ads is the company's next product that allows advertisers to place content-targeted, text-based advertisements primarily on company-owned properties including MSN Money, Real Estate, and many others within the MSN portal.
The pilot will contain the ability to have separate bids for content ads and search ads, a Microsoft spokesman said in an email response.
